Classic and cute mod style shirt dress in a cool block print from iconic Scandinavian designer Marimekko for Design Research. We believe this a 1962 piece in the Maruna print by Annika Rimala. A straight shift cut with short crisp sleeves and high buttoned collar with shiny silver buttons down the front of the bodice. The crisp cotton fabric has a rich and vibrant fucshia hue with a radial floral block print design featuring circular pops of bright scarlet -- try it with knee high boots and a leather jacket for now and sandals in summertime. By label Marimekko, made in Finland circa 1960s.
