This vintage Yves Saint Laurent dress is signature YSL. These types of prints and fabrics were very common elements of Saint Laurent's designs starting in the 1970's. We think this one is so versatile because it can be accessorized to be worn in the evening or worn as a day maxi! 

This 2 piece vintage YSL ensemble includes a pretty, off shoulder ruffled peasant top and a long skirt. Worn together, they create a gorgeous two piece maxi dress! This dress is made a black cotton voile with pale yellow, red, sage and brown floral print. The top is sheer, with a ruffled neckline with elastic and puff sleeves. It can be worn off or on shoulder.

The skirt is long, full, and lined in sheer black. There is a separate matching fabric sash style belt and a side zipper and hook and eye on the left side for closure.

Labeled a size 34, and it fits like an extra small. Late 1970's or early 1980's. We are showing a similar dress ad from 1974 but this one was made a little later.

CONDITION: Excellent condition. Very small seam stress on the top along the bottom, not noticeable when worn.
