DESCRIPTION

Feel the magical, fairy tale enchantment in this buttery soft, flowy, ultra comfortable skater dress, Beauty Enchanted Rose Princess. Inspired by the tale as old as time, the cursed beast and his beloved princess.  Her beautiful golden yellow ball gown and the iconic single red rose are represented in this design, complete with bows and painted ruffles. A single red rose sits in the center of the bodice and smaller, delicate red roses trail down the front of the skirt. The back of the skirt features the painted ruffles and bows in lighter shades of yellow against the golden yellow of the dress. Feel like the Belle of the ball in this stunning and iconic dress!

MEET THE ARTIST

Designed by artist Heather Anne of Heather Anne Studio. All of my dresses, apparel and accessories start as paintings. I use acrylic paints, watercolors and gouache for most of my paintings. Some are digitally painted using Procreate. Then I transfer my paintings to patterns to be made into clothing by my production partner. Most of my original paintings are for sale as originals and prints as well. On occasion, I sell original hand painted clothing and bags as well. COMFORT, FIT and  FABRIC

These skater dresses are ultra comfortable with breathable, stretchy, super soft fabric. I call the fabric “buttery” because it is just so smooth to the touch, but it also has enough weight that it fits well and drapes beautifully. The fabric has a medium thickness so it’s not see through, but it's not too thick either, so you still can cool down on a warm day. I personally wear these to the parks, shopping and to work, and I am comfortable all day. When it's cold, I add leggings and a sweater. When it's hot, I wear the dress as is with the tank top and add some work out shorts underneath. 

When I do in person pop up events or artist alleys at conventions, people always ooh and ahh when they feel how lovely this fabric is in their hands. 

The fitted bodice has a beautiful scoop neck that provides coverage and the flared skirt is flirty, and flouncy, yet modest with its just above the knee hemline. 

The A-line skirt and scooped neck are styles that are flattering to all body types. 

MID LENGTH HEMLINE  for your comfort. These dresses have a modest, mid length hemline and come just above the knee on most people. The length makes them suitable for any occasion and even for the workplace. 

SO MANY WAYS TO STYLE THESE DRESSES! 

I chose this particular style of skater dress to put my artwork on because it is so versatile for styling! 

Each dress features an asymmetrical hemline and flowy skirt so you can spin in like a princess! It can be worn as a casual dress with the tank style top that it comes with, or you can dress it up by adding accessories such as a shrug, cardigan, sweater, scarf, or belt! Because it has a flared skirt, it looks perfect with petticoats underneath and a cardigan or shrug over the top for a dapper, vintage, pin-up style. I love to add a big 50’s style belt with my petticoats underneath and some cute Mary Jane shoes to complete the look. 

I wear these to the office with a cardigan or sweater over them. They feature a modest hemline for a professional look. Many of my dresses are themed, but I also offer florals from my floral paintings, so check out my entire line!

RETURNS: I do not accept returns or exchanges. Each dress is made to order and I do not keep a stock of dresses and sizes. It is a piece of wearable art and individually made.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Do not dryclean; Do not iron; Tumble dry: low heat; Do not bleach; Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F) You can also hand wash and hang to dry. 

SIZING- Refer to the size guide below. These tend to run true to size and they are stretchy.
