  •   Graptoveria 'Debbie' is a stunning hybrid succulent born from a cross between Graptopetalum and Echeveria, two beloved genera in the Crassulaceae family. Native to arid, rocky regions of Mexico and Central America by lineage, this easy-care rosette thrives in conditions that mimic bright, warm, and dry environments. It has earned a devoted following among succulent collectors and casual plant lovers alike.

Graptoveria 'Debbie' forms a beautifully symmetrical upright rosette of thick, fleshy leaves that glow in soft purple-pink hues, deepening to a vivid lavender when given a little stress from temperature dips or bright light. The leaves are smooth, slightly powdery in texture, and taper to gentle points, giving the plant a polished, architectural look that stands out on any shelf or windowsill. Each rosette grows to a tidy, manageable size, making Graptoveria 'Debbie' equally at home as a starter plant or a prized specimen in a curated collection.

Graptoveria 'Debbie' produces delightful apricot-to-coral star-shaped blooms on slender stalks, typically appearing in spring when the plant experiences a nighttime temperature drop that triggers flowering. Blooms are small, cheerful, and lightly clustered, adding an unexpected pop of warm color against those cool purple leaves. Encouraging a night temp drop in late winter is the reliable trick for coaxing Graptoveria 'Debbie' into bloom season after season.

Graptoveria 'Debbie' is a slow-growing, drought-tolerant plant that rewards minimal fuss with maximum charm, making it a perfect pet-friendly choice for households with curious cats or dogs. It loves spending summer outdoors on a patio or in the garden but needs cover from rain to prevent rot, and it tolerates dry heated indoor air surprisingly well during winter. Rotate Graptoveria 'Debbie' every few weeks for even, balanced growth, and keep it away from direct AC or heater vents that blast concentrated air. If you head out for up to ten days, no worries — this resilient beauty holds its own, and it will gently signal thirst by showing slight leaf wrinkling or softness.

  •   Graptoveria 'Debbie' thrives in bright indirect light but appreciates a few hours of morning direct sun to deepen its purple color.

Water Graptoveria 'Debbie' deeply every 10-14 days in summer, reducing to once every 3-4 weeks in winter.

Graptoveria 'Debbie' needs a fast-draining mix of cactus soil blended with coarse perlite or pumice at a 1:1 ratio.

Graptoveria 'Debbie' prefers 65-80°F (18-27°C) and is not frost-hardy below 25°F (-4°C) without protection.

Graptoveria 'Debbie' is a slow to moderate grower that benefits from a light balanced fertilizer once in spring and once in early summer.

Graptoveria 'Debbie' is hardy in USDA Zones 9-11, tolerating brief dips to around 25°F (-4°C) but preferring frost-free winters. Gardeners growing Graptoveria 'Debbie' outdoors year-round will find ideal conditions across California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and the mild coastal stretches of Oregon and Washington. Nevada's warmer southern valleys, New Mexico's lower elevations, and parts of Arkansas and North Carolina with protected microclimates can also support Graptoveria 'Debbie' through mild winters.
  • Q: Is Graptoveria 'Debbie' pet friendly?
A: Yes, Graptoveria 'Debbie' is pet friendly and considered non-toxic to cats and dogs, making it a safe and beautiful choice for pet households.

Q: How often should I water Graptoveria 'Debbie'?
A: Water Graptoveria 'Debbie' every 10-14 days in warm months and cut back to every 3-4 weeks in winter. When leaves look slightly soft or wrinkled, that is your cue to water.

Q: How much light does Graptoveria 'Debbie' need?
A: Graptoveria 'Debbie' does best in bright indirect light with some gentle morning sun. Avoid prolonged harsh afternoon sun in south-facing windows, which can scorch the leaves.

Q: How fast does Graptoveria 'Debbie' grow?
A: Graptoveria 'Debbie' is a slow to moderate grower, gradually producing offsets around the base that are perfect for propagation. Patience pays off with this one.

Q: Can I propagate Graptoveria 'Debbie'?
A: Graptoveria 'Debbie' propagates easily from leaf cuttings or offsets — simply remove a healthy leaf or a basal pup, let it callous for a day or two, and set it on dry succulent soil. New roots and rosettes appear within a few weeks.

Q: Can Graptoveria 'Debbie' grow outside?
A: Graptoveria 'Debbie' loves spending summer on a patio or balcony and thrives as an outdoor plant in USDA Zones 9-11 year-round. Just provide cover from heavy rain and bring it indoors if frost threatens.

Helpful Tool Kit for MerCruiser Maintenance
This tool kit made servicing the gimbal bearing and checking engine alignment much easier than improvising with generic tools. The machining looks solid and the tools fit properly with MerCruiser components. Helpful set for anyone doing their own marine maintenance work. Definitely useful to have around for sterndrive service jobs.

Saves So Much Time, Perfect Fit On Mercruiser Pre-Alpha Outdrive.
This is a very useful kit. Perfect fit to exchange and align the gimbal bearing on a Mercruiser MR/Pre-Alpha Outdrive. The metal rods are strong and well machined to fit the gimbal bearing and the template lines up great with the housing studs. The overall production quality is very good. Great value because the tools are very durable but for me the biggest value is the time saved. I had the bearing out in about 10 minutes. The ability to line up the bearing before attempting to attach the outdrive upper gear unit is very convenient and saves so much time. This are simple tools, very easy to use.

Works well. You need to drill a 3/8” hole
Appears to be well made, alignment bar slides in nicely. As stated, you need to drill a hole in the bar for the gimble bearing driver, the directions are not clear, what I did was before I take out the old gimble bearing, put an O ring on the bar close to the last step on the bar, slide the bar all the way in, then carefully slide the bar out, this marks the distance from the back of the gimble bearing to where the shaft on the outdrive bottoms out, move the O ring a 1/4” towards the stepped part of the alignment tool (this is so you won’t bottom out the alignment tool when driving the gimble bearing in) then slide the driver puck up to the O ring and use a 3/8” diameter transfer punch through the side hole in the puck to mark the bar. You need to drill a 3/8” diameter hole in the alignment bar, two V blocks, some clamps, and a drill press will make drilling much easier, after the bar is securely mounted and centered in the drill press, use a center drill, then 1/4” drill first, using plenty of oil, drill all the way through, then use the 3/8” drill, deburr both sides and you should be good to go. People complain that it doesn’t come pre-drilled, the reason is that not all out drives are the same so you have to fit it to the outdrive that you have. Fortunately, I have a machine shop at my house and have a jig setup with various drill bushings, but the method I described above should work for you. Just make sure you’re perfectly centered and secure before you start drilling.
